So one of my Owen besties is getting married this weekend! I am so excited (and for a few things really)!!
The timing couldn’t be more perfect ‘cuz I’m itching to get away from the city and the *hustle & bustle* of city life! Plus it will be a mini Owen reunion and I pretty much haven’t seen most people since we were all in caps & gowns, bidding adieu to Vanderbilt and Owen. Sad!
It’s going to be a fabulous weekend–I just know it! AND Jules is going to be a gorgeous bride
Asheville, NC here we come!! Don’t miss me too much, NYC, I’ll be back before you even know it and when I do get back I’ll be getting ready for my big move to my own apartment!! I’m so pumped to decorate and FINALLY get settled into the city. It’ll be worth the wait! Recap of the fabulous wedding weekend festivities to come…
What a whirlwind past few days it’s been!! On Sunday night, we got back into the city after a fabulous weekend in Asheville, NC, and immediately had to get ready for my 1st Fantasy Draft of the season (Priorities, priorities! Did I mention I was moving into my apartment as well?!)!! Talk about stressful, especially on borderline complete exhaustion, not to mention the emotional (and quite possibly REAL) hangover from *Julie & Adam*’s wedding weekend! The fantasy draft went well, I drafted my *Dream Team* AND I got my keys to my apartment!
So the past few days, including the Labor Day holiday, have been filled with unpacking, organizing, and adding to the list that never ends of things that I need to get for my new pad. It’s also been raining cats & dogs in the city, so running errands and getting ANYTHING done has been a nightmare! At least the rain has kept me inside and motivated to unpack!
I promise I’ll update you on ALL the gory details of Jules’ wedding weekend in Asheville, but for now more boxes are calling my name! My parents get into town tomorrow, and I still have to break the news to them that after all my hard work the past few days with the apartment, I’m planning on going to *Fashion’s Night Out* as a reward! I hope they don’t mind…

Happy September! I decided that now is the perfect time to follow one of my passions and start a blog. Welcome to my blog about life, and all that it entails, in the “Big City.” I hope you enjoy! xoxo, Stephanie
